WP AI Forms – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the WP AI Forms plugin (“Plugin”), provided by WP AI Forms (“we”, “us”, “our”). By installing, activating, or using the Plugin, you (“User”, “you”, “customer”) agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Plugin.

1. License & Usage

  1. WP AI Forms is licensed on a per-site basis.
  2. You may install the Plugin on the number of websites included in your purchased plan.
  3. You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Plugin without explicit written permission.
  4. All license keys are non-transferable unless approved by us.

2. Free Trial

  1. WP AI Forms may include a free trial period.
  2. Trials are limited in duration and/or features.
  3. At the end of the trial, continued use requires a valid paid license.
  4. Trials are subject to change or cancellation at any time.

3. Payments & Renewals

  1. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider (e.g. Freemius).
  2. Licenses renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  3. Renewal pricing may change; any changes will always be communicated prior to renewal.
  4. Failure to renew results in loss of updates, support, and premium features.

4. Refund Policy

  1. We offer refunds according to our refund policy (e.g., 14-day or 30-day window depending on your setup).
  2. Refunds are not provided for:
    • Purchases older than the refund window
    • Renewal payments
    • License upgrades or downgrades
  3. Abuse of the refund system may result in account termination.

5. Use of AI Services

  1. WP AI Forms uses external AI services (such as OpenAI) to generate forms, actions, and other content.
  2. By using the Plugin, you agree to the terms and policies of the AI provider(s).
  3. You are responsible for all prompts, data, and content you send to AI services through the Plugin.
  4. We are not responsible for:
    • AI-generated content accuracy
    • Errors, hallucinations, or misleading information
    • Costs associated with your own API usage if using your own API key

6. Form Submissions & Data Handling

  1. WP AI Forms allows you to collect form submissions and optionally store them in your WordPress database.
  2. You are solely responsible for:
    • Compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy laws
    • Informing your users about how their data is processed
    • Configuring form actions such as email or webhook destinations
  3. We do not have access to your stored submissions unless you explicitly share them for support purposes.

7. Email Delivery & Webhooks

  1. The Plugin sends emails or forwards data to webhooks based on your configuration.
  2. We are not liable for:
    • Email delivery failures
    • Incorrect webhook URLs
    • Misrouted or lost submissions caused by your server or hosting provider

8. Software Updates

  1. Active licenses receive updates, improvements, and security patches.
  2. You are responsible for ensuring your WordPress environment meets technical requirements.
  3. Updates may modify or remove existing functionality.

9. Support

  1. Premium licenses include support through our designated support channels.
  2. Support covers Plugin functionality but not:
    • Custom development or theme integration
    • Conflicts caused by third-party plugins or hosting providers
    • Server configuration or debugging unrelated to WP AI Forms
  3. Support is provided on a reasonable-effort basis.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use WP AI Forms to:

  • Collect illegal or harmful content
  • Spam or misuse email systems
  • Create forms for fraudulent or abusive purposes
  • Violate privacy, copyright, or other laws

We reserve the right to suspend licenses for misuse.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  1. WP AI Forms is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
  2. We are not liable for:
    • Loss of data
    • Lost revenue or business interruptions
    • AI-generated content errors
    • Issues caused by third-party plugins, hosting, or configurations
  3. Your sole remedy is discontinuing use of the Plugin.

12. Termination

We may terminate licenses if:

  • These Terms are violated
  • Fraudulent activity is detected
  • Abuse or misuse of our services occurs

Termination for cause does not require refunds.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Plugin after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
