Using the Same Form on Multiple Pages

2–3 minutes

to read

Sometimes you want to reuse the same form across multiple pages — for example, a contact form that appears on both your Contact page and your Pricing page.
Because WP AI Forms is fully Gutenberg-first, the easiest way to reuse a form is to turn the block into a Reusable Pattern.

WP AI Forms follows the standard WordPress block system, which means that any form block can be saved and reused anywhere on your site while keeping one single source of truth.

How It Works

When you convert your form block into a Reusable Pattern, you can insert that same pattern on any page or post.
If you edit the form later (fields, styling, AI actions, success view, etc.), the changes update everywhere the pattern is used.

Perfect for shared forms like:

  • Contact forms
  • Newsletter signups
  • Support request forms
  • Demo request forms
  • Multi-purpose lead forms

Step-by-Step: Create a Reusable Pattern

  1. Open the page that contains the form you want to reuse.
  2. Click the WP AI Form block to select it.
  3. In the block toolbar (top of the block), click the ⋮ More options menu.
  4. Choose “Create pattern” → “Reusable pattern”.
  5. Give your pattern a name, such as “Contact Form – Main”.
  6. Click Save.

Your form is now a reusable pattern that can be inserted anywhere.

Using the Form on Another Page

  1. Open the page where you want the form to appear.
  2. Click the + button to add a block.
  3. Search for the name of the reusable pattern (e.g., “Contact Form – Main”).
  4. Insert it — done!

The same form now appears on multiple pages, all powered by a single pattern.

Editing a Reusable Form

If you edit the reusable pattern (for example, adding a new field or updating styling), every page that uses the pattern will automatically update.

To edit the form:

  1. Click the form block inside your page.
  2. Click Edit original in the block toolbar.
  3. Make your changes using the AI builder, visual controls, or the form spec editor.
  4. Save the pattern.

All instances across your site will reflect the update immediately.

Good to Know

  • Form submissions will still be tied to the same form ID (can be set in inspector controls – settings), even when used across multiple pages.
  • You can track or filter submissions by page inside the Submissions admin if needed.
  • You can create multiple reusable patterns if you need variations of forms.
  • Styling that you set in the inspector is also synced across reused forms.

Summary

To reuse the same form on several pages:

  1. Convert your WP AI Form block into a Reusable Pattern.
  2. Insert the pattern anywhere on your website.
  3. Edit it once — updates appear everywhere.

This is the recommended Gutenberg-first way to reuse forms consistently and avoid managing multiple versions of the same form.
